• About the role
• We are seeking a talented Golang Developer - Banking Industry to join our Web Development & Production team on a contract basis . This role is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta . As a Golang Developer, you will play a critical part in developing robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions specifically tailored for banking applications. You will work on high-performance systems that serve as the backbone of financial operations, ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance in a fast-paced banking environment.
• Key responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Go (Golang) for banking and financial applications
• Build scalable, high-performance microservices architecture components that support critical banking operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, frontend developers, and system architects to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code that adheres to industry best practices and security standards
• Implement and optimise database interactions and queries for banking systems handling large volumes of transactions
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality standards
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in production environments with minimal downtime
• Participate in security assessments and ensure compliance with banking regulations and data protection standards
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices
• Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in backend development and banking technology
• What we're looking for
• Proven professional experience developing production-level applications using Go (Golang), with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of backend development principles, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
• Experience working with relational databases (such as PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, Redis)
• Familiarity with banking or financial services systems, payment processing, or fintech solutions is highly desirable
• Solid knowledge of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices
• Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
• Understanding of security best practices, including authentication, authorisation, encryption, and secure API design
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of banking compliance standards, regulatory requirements, or security frameworks would be advantageous
