  • About the role
  • This is a Fraud Analyst role focused on the Fraud Formula Builder within the BSA Module. You will analyze business requirements and fraud scenarios to support the development of fraud detection capabilities, identifying and assessing potential fraud patterns, suspicious transaction behaviors, and risk indicators.
  • Key responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements and fraud scenarios to support the development of a Fraud Formula Builder within the BSA Module
  • Identify, assess, and define potential fraud patterns, suspicious transaction behaviors, and risk indicators
  • Design and propose fraud detection rules, formulas, parameters, conditions, and thresholds based on business requirements
  • Translate fraud detection requirements into structured business logic that can be implemented by the Product and Development teams
  • Define fraud rule components, including transaction parameters, logical operators (AND/OR), conditions, scoring, thresholds, and risk classifications
  • Develop fraud use cases and scenarios to detect suspicious activities, abnormal transaction patterns, and potential fraud attempts
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure fraud detection logic can be properly implemented within the BSA Module
  • Perform rule validation, scenario testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of fraud detection formulas
  • Evaluate fraud detection performance and recommend improvements to minimize false positives and false negatives
  • Prepare functional documentation, fraud rule specifications, business requirements, and test scenarios for the development team

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Fraud Analyst, Fraud Risk Analyst, Fraud Strategy Analyst, or in a related role
  • Strong understanding of fraud detection, fraud prevention, transaction monitoring, and fraud risk assessment
  • Experienced in identifying fraud patterns and developing fraud detection rules, scenarios, and business logic
  • Able to design and formulate rule-based fraud detection logic using conditions, parameters, thresholds, and logical operators (AND/OR)
  • Familiar with fraud detection systems, rule engines, transaction monitoring systems, or fraud management platforms
  • Able to translate business requirements into functional specifications for system development
  • Familiar with data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and SQL
  • Experienced in collaborating with Product, Business Analyst, and Development teams in developing or enhancing fraud detection systems
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and documentation skills
